The Big Golf Race 2023
Campaign by PROSTATE CANCER UK (RCN 1005541 and in Scotland (SC039332))
There's something for everyone in The Big Golf Race. Choose from the Half Marathon (2 rounds, 36 holes, 13 miles in a day), the Marathon (4 rounds, 72 holes, 26 miles in a day) or even the Ultra Marathon (5.5 rounds, 100 holes, 35 miles in a day).

Story

1 man in every 2 four-balls is affected by prostate cancer. That’s thousands of dads, brothers, partners, grandads, mates, sons and uncles. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We are taking on The Big Golf Race to help raise money and awareness of prostate cancer to keep men in the game for longer. Your donation will help fund lifesaving research to find better tests to diagnose men sooner.

My name is Simon Cowley and i am this year's Men's Captain at Royal Ashdown Forest Golf Club.  With fellow member Ian Fry, Professionals Tim Cowley and Jonny Ingram, we are looking forward to taking on the challenge of 100 holes over the demanding Royal Ashdown Old Course for Prostate Cancer.  This will be competitive golf with birdies a focal point!!

Thank you for your support.
