Story
I am playing 36 holes on the 25th of September at Sitwell park golf club, raising money and awareness for prostate cancer. I am doing this for a family friend, a fellow golfer, and anyone else who has this horrible, life changing disease. As a 13 year old boy, I feel that it is important to raise awareness and support for this male cancer, with early diagnosis, it can prolong the the males life enormously. Prostate Cancer is now the most commonly diagnosed cancer in the UK, killing one man every 45 minutes in the UK. That's the same time it takes to play three holes of golf. That's why I'm golfing the distance and taking on The Big Golf Race, to keep men in the game for longer. The money raised by this challenge will help fund research into life-saving treatments for prostate cancer and provide practical support to men and their families.
