Story
Prostate Cancer is now the most commonly diagnosed cancer in the UK, killing one man every 45 minutes in the UK. That's the same time it takes to play three holes of golf.
That's why, along with three friends, I'm taking on The Big Golf Race, (72 holes in one day, about a marathon in length) to keep men in the game for longer.
This disease kills too many of us, too early and has affected me personally in many ways. Money raised by this challenge will help fund research into life-saving treatments for prostate cancer and provide practical support to men and their families.
However, please make sure that you get checked regularly to ensure that, if you do have an issue it is identified early.
Nag over, please now dig deep and help us raise as much as we can for this great charity’s valuable work.
