We raise funds to support people through this crisis

Story

The Big Bike In

Endurance athlete and Breakfast presenter Louise Minchin is going to ride 100 miles inside on her static bike to support the BBC’s The Big Night In Appeal for those affected by coronavirus.

During The Big Bike In she is going to be joined by friends and top athletes who are going to cycle at the same time as her, in their own homes, to keep her company.  Some will complete the full hundred miles and others will just cycle for parts of it to keep her spirits up.

The money raised will be used by BBC Children In Need and Comic Relief to support local charities and projects in the UK, so they can provide essential support to people who really need it through the crisis.

When

Louise is setting off at 5pm on Thursday 23rd of April.

You can follow The Big Bike In  through live updates on Instagram, Twitter and on Zwift, and she will be joined by some very special guests, top athletes and familiar faces.

It is a fun ride, and there will be a planned break at 8pm BST to support the Clap for Carers.

Louise would love your support along the way, especially when the going gets really tough later on in the day.
