From 22nd April - 4th May 2020 the Band of Her Majesty’s Royal Marines Lympstone will be taking on a running, walking and cycling challenge of covering 3,500 miles from Lympstone, UK to Virginia, USA.

The 4th May marks the date of what would have been the last night of the Virginia Tattoo, which unfortunately had to be cancelled. Whilst currently on standby to help when needed with the current crisis, we as a collective have chosen to take on this enormous challenge in support of “NHS Charities Together”, who provide vital support for NHS staff and volunteers who care for Covid-19 patients.

NHS Charities Together provides a forum for nationwide fundraising and advocacy campaigns, provides advice and guidance to its members, bespoke conferences and training days covering issues and development opportunities for NHS Charities, as well as access to on line resources and support through exclusive member pages on the website. NHS Charities together also provides the collective voice of NHS Charities and impact they make.
