Story

The Rose Lineage Priestesses of The Avalon Rose Chapel were thrilled to hold our annual Mary Magdalene Feast Day Celebration by donation only with all proceeds going once more to Unseen.

Last year, along with international singer-songwriter Nalini Blossom, we co-created a beautiful Celebration at the Chapel with a Sabai ceremony and songs, and raised £380 for Unseen – the UK’s foremost charity against Slavery and Human Trafficking, based in Bristol (the city closest to Glastonbury).

This year, due to the pandemic, we had to move our annual Celebration online for a very special evening of song, poetry, storytelling, dance, prayer, readings and guided meditation in honour of and devotion to Mary Magdalene.

Thank you to all the priestesses who so generously gave of their time and creative talents, and to everyone who joined us and donated much-needed funds to this worthwhile cause and charity.

I also added all the Chapel visitor donations from 2018-2020 to our total fund donated.
