Story
In our line of work we see a range of patients, some of whom are very unwell children, who suffer from a range of illness. Every year BBC Children in Need collect money to help these Children! So the challenge is.....
On the 16th November The City and Hackney Ambulance Staff are going to be PULLING AN AMBULANCE from Homerton Ambulance Station to White City!!!! (Hopefully be able to get into the BBC Studios!) To help raise as much as we can for Children in Need!
We begin at 9:30am and have to go through marble arch at 16:00, to give you a rough idea of time limits etc!!
There will be staff pulling the ambulance, as well as staff walking along side with collection buckets and medical support on standby just in case.
So please dig deep into your pockets to help support such an amazing charity! Feel free to come down and give us some support on the day....and also to watch us struggle!!! :)
N.B. due to health and safety regulations and TFL regulations, the ambulance will have to be driven through some major junctions on the route. However we will be pulling all that we are allowed!
