Story
So the 2.6 challenge is all about replacing the marathon for these charities that are struggling due to the delay in the marathon. For us that's the Cystic Fibrosis trust.
The response we have had so far to our 2.6 mile challenge is amazing. We now have nearly 70 participants ready to take on 7 marathon's between them!
A reminder of what's happening:
- Enter as an individual or get a full 10 person team together.
- All you have to do is Run/Jog/Walk 2.6 Miles (4.1km) and pass the “virtual” baton (SMS / Whatsapp / Call) to the next person. If you can film yourself passing the baton even better and we'll create a mini movie with them all.
- This isn't a race, it doesn't matter if it takes you 20 minutes or an hour to do your part, we already have a wide range of abilities.
- First person in each team to start at 8am GMT on 26/04/2020.

Martin and I are doing the London Marathon!
Yes you read that right... myself... who wont even run to the car will be doing the Marathon!!
So why are we doing it?
As some of you know in August my son Harvey was Diagnosed with Cystic fibrosis. This has meant multiple hospital appointments with daily medication and will for the rest of his life. In simple terms it is a life long illness that will effect his lungs, it means the simplest things like a cold could see him in hospital for weeks.
However research has made some brilliant progress in recent years and with the right awareness and, most importantly funding, research will be able to continue and hopefully make everyone with CF's life that little easier so they can live life unlimited. We appreciate there are a lot of fund raisers but anything you can give will help not only Harvey but many others with CF and will be greatly appreciated by us and them!!
