Galvanised by the belief that being clean is not a luxury or a privilege, The Hygiene Bank is a registered, people powered, grassroots charity grounded in community. The Hygiene Bank provides basic essential hygiene products, including soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, nappies, shampoo, detergent, cleaning products and sanitary products to those of us that need them. 

We do this by collecting and distributing donated toiletries and hygiene basics to UK charities, voluntary organisations and schools. These in turn are then given for free to their beneficiaries. Our passion stems from a sense of injustice: it's not right that anyone should face hygiene poverty in modern Britain.

The Wandsworth Hygiene Bank is one of a network of branches working across the UK. Our local project works with frontline organisations in the borough, including Women’s Refuge, Baby Bank’s, Family Centres and organisations supporting the homeless. Supporting the Hygiene Bank Wandsworth means supporting not just one organisation but multiple local organisations tackling a wide range of issues, from child poverty to domestic abuse and homelessness.

Your donation will mean we are able to purchase and distribute essential hygiene products to the beneficiaries of our community partners.
