Well...lets see - what is my story?

Firstly, I would like to say Alhamdullilah I have been given a chance to give back to the Bangladeshi community by becoming a member of Sylhet Aid. 

Secondly, I have been given a chance to make a difference in people's lives by either giving them comfort, warmth, security, medical care or a livelihood - a chance to become something. How amazing is that? I started seeing my cousin helping those in need and now I can do that too...

I know we hear our parents or family giving money back home to help with this and to help with that. However this is different the money that we contribute will be to those people who don't have anyone to turn too or to those whose family have turned away in giving help. We will be helping those who might feel they have no purpose in life because they can't support their family or put food on the table. We will help those who feel that they are restricted because they can't walk anymore...WE...yes WE can give hope again to those eyes that are filled with tears insha Allah. So please donate as little or a lot as you can so we can make a difference. Let's sleep better knowing that from the contribution you have made means that you have made someones life that little better...

We have the power and the means, so why not use it wisely insha Allah..

Aid distribution plan: 

1. Wheelchairs for the Disabled £80 

2. Sewing machines for Young Women £80

3. Winter Blankets £3 

4. Emergency Rescue Centre £20,000 

5. Emergency Medical/Housing £5,000 

6. Marriage Fund: £2,000

7. Friend of Sylhet Aid - £3 every month. This will contribute to all of the above.
