I've got to know the Brigstowe Project in the last four years in my time as Bristol West MP and I am a big fan of what they do and how they do it. The empowering, involving, participatory way they work is inspiring. I'm raising money for them to carry on supporting and advocating for people with HIV/AIDS in Bristol.
£5- can pay for a destitute client to see their support worker.
£50- can allow someone struggling with their diagnosis to meet with their Peer Mentor every week for a month.
£200- can provide HIV awareness training to a group who can’t afford it.
£750- can provide a Newly Diagnosed Group run across 2 days. Receiving an HIV diagnosis can be a shocking, confusing and emotional time. This will provide individuals with the right information from the start to help them face the future.
£1200- will pay for our annual main World Aids Day event to remember those who have died, celebrate all the progress that has been made and raise awareness of HIV in Bristol.
Every bit of money will help Brigstowe to carry on doing the fantastic work they do. Thanks for your support.
