During this summer from July-October, I will be taking part in a developing programme overseas for 12 weeks in Nepal. This programme is a part of International Citizen Service (ICS) which is funded by the Department for International Development. My role with VSO as a Youth Volunteer will involve me living and working within the Nepalese community raising awareness of sexual health amongst the youth.

I am hoping by the end of this experience I will have gained a better understanding of global development and played a small part in helping improve the lives of others. Hopefully with your help, I will be able to reach my £800 target which will further help VSO continue their amazing work around the world.
