Story

Since 2012 there has been a 400% increase in the size of the homeless population in Oxford. We are walking from the source of the Thames to Oxford to fight this issue – but we need your help! Our journey speaks to the 10 miles homeless people tread on average every day. Our 2-day 54-mile walk will end in Oxford, where we will then provide a meal and a hot drink for homeless people in the city, in collaboration with Turl  Street Homeless Action (TSHA). Please sponsor us to help raise money for Aspire, a charity which focuses on both homelessness prevention and homeless relief. Charities like Aspire are seeing huge increases in demand for their services.

We are also planning to organise term-time fundraisers at Oxford University to continue to raise money for homelessness charities throughout next year. Once coronavirus restrictions are lifted, we intend on hosting a Sleepout event in the town centre with Aspire.
