Our Captain's charity at Tandridge Golf Club this year (2015) is Pancreatic Cancer UK. Many of our members have friends and family who have been affected by this disease. Recently a popular member, Nick Cooper, died after battling bravely for 2 years with good humour and fortitude.

Nick loved his golfing days at Tandridge and his friends at the Club thought that it would be a great idea to play 100 holes of golf on Mid-Summer's Day (21 June 2015) in his honour. We will tee-off at first light (about 4.10am) and attempt to cover 100 holes (walking about 35 miles) before nightfall. It would be marvellous if we could raise some money to support the charity and to spur us on along the way.
