Third part has been logistically difficult to deliver because there is no charity in Okhtyrka town and we only could deliver support via charity. We considered different ways to help.
Eventually the most appropriate way to help was to buy all necessary items by Charity in Kiev and transport it to Okhtyrka.
After schools were damaged by bombing in spring the only way children were supported was with events in the library. So half of £5500 went to buy equipment for the library: books, needed furniture, games, puzzles/ please see photos below.
The other half was for vulnerable families: those who have disability, very low income and single parent households. 25 families benefitted from this help. As well as food they received warm duvets, toys, clothes and books
