There are 2.5 million people living with cancer in the UK today, and as more people live longer with their cancer, this number is set to grow to 4 million by 2030. Macmillan aims to make sure they can provide support to everyone who needs it and to help people affected by cancer feel more in control of their lives.

The help they offer includes helping people have the best possible quality of life, answering questions about their cancer, supporting friends and family and offering access to 24/7 community services, palliative care staff and out of ours GP support. They also help the terminally ill to 'die well' in a place they choose to be.

I can't express enough how brilliant Macmillan & Marie Curie were in helping my Dad, family and I in every way they could.
