Sense is here to support disabled people from the first weeks of life through all the major milestones of adulthood. Over 70 years, we’ve built extensive knowledge and expertise in supporting disabled people with complex needs, including deafblind people.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my page.

The idea of living without sight and hearing is very hard for most of us to imagine. Sense is a national charity that supports and campaigns for children and adults who are deafblind or have sensory impairments. I've seen the work they do supporting individuals and their families and am proud to be running for them in April.

Any donation, however large or small, will help make a real difference:

  • £5 could pay for a set of musical bells to help stimulate even the tiniest amount of sound a deafblind child can hear in music therapy;
  • £7.50 can pay for a deafblind child to experience sailing and feel the wind on their face on their Sense holiday;
  • £15 could pay for a tactile book to develop a child's sense of sight and touch.

Thanks for your support.
