Story
Having spent the last 2 years training, losing weight and generally improving myself with the help of the amazing Tribe Training community I decided that in my 60th year I wanted to do a challenge. I have a dodgy knee which rules out doing any sort of distance run but when one of the other Tribe members suggested we do this on the 24th September, I thought why not. I can get round 6 miles, even if I have to hobble and 26 obstacles? Piece of cake, 😅
I will be doing it alongside like minded people from the Tribe and raising money for a good cause. So even though I know times are hard, if you could spare a few bob to support me on the challenge it would be greatly appreciated.
East Anglian Air Ambulance receives no regular government funding and relies entirely on the support of the community. The crews are tasked an average of 8 times a day across the two bases, with each mission costing in the region of £3,750. They can reach anywhere in the region within 25 minutes when every second can make the difference to a patient in their time of need.
