Charity events is something that I rarely do, normally I would just pay the money to sponsor other people raising money.

However last year I took part in this walk and was prepared just to pay my entrance fee to St Leonards Hospice and do no more but about a week before the walk I thought I really ought to make a bit of an effort amd through just a few friends and colleagues at work managed to raise and extra £50. The walk was a real challenge and throughout the second half of it all I could say was "never again"  At the end though I got such a sense of acheivement that this year here I am again but this time a bit more organised and focused on trying to raise a bit more money for this really worthwhile charity, and although my target is relativley small, it's double what I did last year!!!
