Story
Terry was a much-loved family man, friend and colleague who sadly lost his battle with cancer on the 13th September 2013, at the age of 49.
He was diagnosed with angiosarcoma, but despite this cancer's rare and aggressive form, Terry fought the disease with determination and dignity for two years. It was a difficult journey for him and the family, especially as in Terry's case, the cancer was in his heart, which is particularly rare.
Terry was a fit person who was always active and looked after his health and his diagnosis came as a shock to everyone.
We're hoping that family, friends and colleagues will get on board with us to both organise and support different events over the next couple of years to help us raise a significant sum for Sarcoma UK and create a legacy for others in Terry's name.
Above all, we want to have fun in the process, after all, as Terry would say: 'Keep having fun'.
