Story
Hello folks! I received confirmation a few weeks back that I had been successful in applying for a charity place for Macmillan cancer support. It'll be my second london marathon, but it'll mean a bit more this time. My dad was recently diagnosed with cancer of the bladder. Although the operation to remove the tumour was successful, he has another big op next week, to remove the bladder, which has been complicated by his earlier kidney transplant, but we are all massively confident. My dads cancer has been treatable. That is not the case for so many others. It was a huge eye opener as to what other families and loved ones must go through, especially when the news isn't as good as it could be. It's been unbelievably tough for our family & friends, I couldn't even begin to imagine a worse scenario. I am over the moon to be running for Macmillan! I ask for you to give anything you are able to, every single penny helps! I massively, massively appreciate any donations, it'll make a huge difference come the 26th of April. Thanks again, I'll keep you all updated!
