Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

One Friday morning without any sleep and possibly a little too much alcohol in our systems James and I decided to become the new Cheryl Cole and Chris Moyles. Apparently it wasn't enough that James had regular trips to the hairdressers, tinting and straightening his ginger afro while I ate several pies a day and got to the stage where I looked like a fat William Shatner. So in a further attempt to mimic our heros, we booked up to climb Kilimanjaro.

We have both paid for this separately so that those of you who are kind and generous enough to sponsor us will have the full knowledge that your money is going to charity and not on our flights, pop-up tent, nipple vaseline or ice cold beer once/if we get back down to the bottom.

The charity we are raising money for is the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association. It is the only national organisation in England, Wales and Northern Ireland dedicated to the support of people with MND and those who care for them. Their mission is to fund and promote research to bring about an end to MND. Until then they aim to do all that they can to enable everyone with MND to receive the best care, achieve the highest quality of life possible, and die with dignity.

We thank you in advance for your generous donation.
