Terry Keyworth's PRS Fundraiser

Thanks for taking the time to visit Terry Keyworth's JustGiving page.
This page has been set up to celebrate Terry's life as a cherished father, beloved husband, and talented musician and artist. Sadly, Terry passed away on the 4th of March, 2019, a few days after suffering a heart attack. His funeral will be held at Bournemouth Crematorium at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, 26th March, 2019.
We, his family, feel that it is fitting that Dad make one last contribution to music, so we have set up this page to raise money for the Performing Right Society. The PRS were very good to him and helped to cover the cost of private surgery on his left hand (he suffered from Dupuytren's contracture, or "Viking claw" as he liked to call it) so that--with some really hard work on his part-- he could keep on rockin' and entertaining people for a few more years.
In lieu of bringing or sending flowers to the funeral, we therefore ask that you please consider making a donation to this worthy cause. We know that this is what Dad would want as he would love the idea of supporting fellow musicians!
In 2016, when Dad had his operation, "the PRS shared £351,273 to make a real difference for the many members whose circumstances changed." There are surely many other musicians who could benefit from the type of help Dad received. His surgery cost about £3,000, which is why we have set that as a fundraising target.
More information about Dupuytren's contracture can be found at this link:

If you are feeling especially generous, please also consider donating to the Bournemouth Hospital Charity. The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at the Royal Bournemouth took such good care of Dad and our family during his last days. Let's help to support the amazing work they do day in and day out:

Thank you ALL so much for the outpouring of love and support for our father and our family since his passing.
