Story

Hi Everyone,

I am running the Great North Run this year for the 2nd time, I have teamed up with St Oswlads Hospice to raise as much money as I can in memory of my Dad.

My Dad was diagnosed with a rare form of Cancer in 2014, he battled with the illness for just 4 months before he sadly passed away. As an 18 year old I was not ready to lose my Dad, it was a time in my life when I needed him round the most but I know he did everything he could to fight this terrible disease.

My Dad spent the last remaining days of his life at the hospice, no one wants to see their parent or loved ones be admitted to a hospice but the community behind the hospice is just incredible. I will never forget the care they gave for my Dad, the support they had given me and my family was something I will always remember and appreciate.

By running the Great North Run 2022 with St Oswald's I am committing to raise a minimum of £350 towards the work of the Hospice. If you can spare any change and donate to such an amazing cause or if you'd like to join me on the team please get in touch with either Bethany or Emily on 0191 285 0063 Thanks for sponsoring me for being part of something incredible for St Oswald's Hospice.

Please help me raise as much money as possible to help the hospice continue to be there for families like mine.

Thanks so much for your support,

Terry :-)
