Story
Phil & I will run Brighton Marathon on Sunday 12th September in memory of Adam, my little Cousin who was so full of life and laughs and sadly taken from us too soon.
We would love to raise some money for the important work of The Adam Redfern Memorial Fund which will keep him inspiring others for years to come.
Please donate anything you can spare, it'll really help Phil & I to keep on running when we hit the wall at mile 20!! 💪🏻 🙏🏻
Thanks Terri & Phil xxxx

The Adam Redfern Memorial Fund has been established to give aspiring students with a flair for media, journalism and sport the opportunity to study at DMU and make the most out of their time here before they go on to fulfil their career ambitions. The fund is in memory of much-loved DMU colleague, Journalism alumnus and fitness enthusiast, Adam Redfern, who died suddenly of a heart attack while out jogging in March 2021, aged 28.
The Adam Redfern Memorial Fund will also shine a light on SADS (sudden arrhythmic death syndrome) when someone dies suddenly following a cardiac arrest and no obvious cause can be found through fundraising events hosted in Adams memory and also by supporting the Joe Humphries Memorial Trust; a Leicestershire-based charity set up to break the 'silence' on SADS and create a new generation of young life savers.
