I took  on the Aspire Channel Swim 2018,to swim the same distance as the width of the English Channel  over 12 weeks to raise money for Aspire. I was then challenged by a friend (?) to include the swim back, so the distance is now 44 miles! Every eight hours someone is paralysed by a Spinal Cord Injury and Aspire provides the essential equipment, advice, housing and grants that spinal cord injured people need to live their lives independently. This is a big challenge, but the cause is one that is dear to us at Stanley. I can do it with your support (I think....)
