Why climate change piano concerts & talks?
Climate change and biodiversity loss threaten the future of all of us. The World Land Trust buys land in the most biologically important rainforests around the world and protects it from deforestation. The World Land Trust contributes to tackling both climate change (protecting or restoring carbon sinks) and biodiversity (protecting or restoring habitats for endangered species).
In the words of Sir David Attenborough, patron of the World Land Trust: "The money that is given to the World Land Trust, in my estimation, has more effect on the wild world than almost anything else I can think of."
To raise money for this important cause, I have decided to perform at a series of fundraising piano concerts where I will also talk on climate change and the importance of the World Land Trust. Thank you to everyone who attended my first concert, you've raised wonderful £710 which will buy 7 Acres of threatened habitats.
