When I was 17 I lost my dad to a massive heart attack.  Every little girl says these words but my dad was my hero.  Losing my dad so young, he never got to walk me down the aisle, he never got to see his amazing grandchildren.

In 2021 my brother Chris Chapman had a heart attack too. Thanks to the amazing NHS staff my brother survived, having a heart condition has changed his life. 

Thinking about running the marathon scares me however not as much as person who is having a heart attack and not knowing if you are going to survive.  Every second, minute, hour of the marathon I will be thinking about my two hero’s my Dad and my brother Chris.
