Story
My father-in-law Eric died of cancer at the end of August this year. His wish was to die at home. The Hospice at Home Team helped us to care for him in his last few weeks of life.
Blythe House Hospice provides care and support for those in the High Peak community affected by cancer, life-limiting illness or bereavement. The care and support Blythe House provides remains completely free of charge. By taking part in the Jingle Bell Jog, I am supporting Blythe House Hospice to continue to provide this much needed care. By sponsoring me you could contribute to the following:£50 would pay for three hours Hospice at Home care for someone in their last weeks of life.£100 would pay for half a days physiotherapy for a patient struggling with mobility as a result of their illness.£150 would pay for 5 counselling sessions for a bereaved child at one of the hardest times of their life.£450 would pay for three nights of care for a patient at the end of their life who wants to remain in their own home.
