Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I work for a company called Andrew James UK Ltd and one of my colleagues Thomas Ferguson told me about how his brother nearly died in a car accident.  On 17th November 2015,  James Ferguson was travelling in Cambridge when a dead tree fell onto his car during high winds. James was left critically injured and spent a great many months in Addenbrooks Hospital - meaning his family in Durham had to commute miles every week just to see him. The Great North Air Ambulance Service funded his transfer flight up to Newcastle RVI hospital when he was in a stable enough condition in order to be closer to family and friends. If it wasn't for the air ambulance, his family would have found it increasingly difficult to continue to visit - having his family close by was a major contribution to aiding his recover.
