25 hours of pain for Hope for Children

I'm the worst runner in the world! I've always been slow and ungainly on the road. When I was 27 I came stone dead last in a small country half-marathon in South Africa.
But I love running and believe in the virtues of exercise and still haven't learned my lesson.
In mid-September I plan to runwalk the Equinox24, a 24-25 hour endurance event in the grounds of Belvoir Castle in Leicestershire. It's a 10 km course and you go around and around, doing as many laps as possible. It will be tough!
I will do the Equinox24 in memory of my mother, Beryl Moll, who died from COVID19 during lockdown in Johannesburg, two years ago. I would like to raise funds for Hope for Children, a small charity that works to improve the lives of children and families in the UK, Ghana, India, Sri Lanka and Uganda.
Your contributions would be wonderful!
To encourage you, I pledge to add 50p for every £1 of sponsorship. So your contributions will be geared. You can’t do better than that!
