Story
TENZING, the natural energy drink company, were taking 16 people to Nepal this month for a once in a lifetime trip to Everest Basecamp and beyond. As a result of the Worldwide Coronavirus outbreak and UK lockdown, this trip has been cancelled. So, some of the team thought well why don’t we bring Everest to us?
WHEN?
Thursday 9th April – Friday 10th April. They’ll be tackling the 58,070 steps and 3,871 flights of stairs it takes to virtually climb to the summit of Everest – 8,848m - a challenge that will take about 20 hours!
WHY?
We want to encourage everyone that despite lockdown, we can all still keep moving, and even the biggest of challenges are possible if you keep your mind positive and body energised.
But, we don’t just want to inspire those in lockdown, we want to help those on the NHS frontline too. That’s why we’re fundraising for RMBF - to help sick doctors get back to doing their vital work, and support those struggling with their mental health during and following the impact of Covid-19.
Not only this, but we will also be donating over 70,000 cans of TENZING Natural Energy to keep the NHS energised throughout this challenging time!
