I have managed to convince 9 colleagues (with various sporting abilities), to run the Great North Run with me in aid of Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research, a charity which is very close to my heart. I lost my brother Nicholas who was aged 13 to Leukaemia, he died only 11 days after being diagnosed. Around 30,000 people a year are diagnosed with the cancer but today thanks to continued investment in research 9 out of 10 children with the right treatment survive, with similar statistics for adults too.

The ’10 from Tennants’ team ask that you donate as much or as little money to L & LR as you can, in memory of Nicholas, to ensure that this life-saving treatment continues. All sponsorship will be motivation towards 10 ‘great’ finishing times on September 16 – for those of you who know us, you’ll appreciate we need as much support and encouragement to put on our trainers and run, as we can possibly get!
