YMCA Teesdale carries out work in the villages of Barnard Castle, Cockfield and Evenwood. Within our Community cafe in Cockfield we offer hearty home cooked meals at a affordable price. We also provide a senior lunch club, Senior outings, baby and toddler group, school holiday activities, and a Christmas Eve story with Santa.

We have the Community House based in Wellgarth Evenwood, within this house we provide a community hub for the residents in which they can access support and advice, training courses or just a cuppa and a chat. We also provide a weekly youth club for young people of the area aged 7 - 18 years.

As many charities due to Covid-19 we have suffered a significant financial loss. We want to continue to carry out the vital work and services we provide our communities whom many depend on. In order to help with this we as a team are going to walk to all the areas we carry out our work in the hope of raising some vital funds that will help in aiding us to carry on the work we do.
