In 2009 my wife, Sophie, was diagnosed with MS . Overcoming MS is a small charity that Sophie discovered and it has been the one source of info and support that she has found to be invaluable. So I figured it would be nice to do my bit and put myself through some hardship in order to persuade you lot to part with lots of money. By the way...Sophie really doesn't want any sympathy, or any "oh no, how terrible for you" or any of that kind of soppy stuff.......she just wants your cash....so get donating and spread the word! 

In 2015 I completed the World Marathon Challenge. 7 marathons in 7 continents in 7 days. 

In 2016 Oscar, my eldest son, was the youngest finisher of the Marathon Des Sables from GB

In 2016 we were rescued by helicopter from a rowing boat while attempting to cross the Atlantic..... you can’t win them all. 

In 2017 I moped around feeling sorry for myself 

In 2018 I’m back.... ready to take on the Arctic again.
