Story

Hi,

Thanks for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page.

Joint Action was launched by the British Orthopaedic Association, the professional body of British orthopaedic surgeons to ensure they can continue to develop orthopedic treatment by raising funds for research.

Musculoskeletal disorders are the most common cause of illness in the affecting over 8.5 million people. By 2020 Musculoskeletal conditions involving bones, muscles and joints are going to be the single largest cause of disability in the . One in two of us will need orthopedic intervention in our lives.

Joint Action is the only UK Charity which specializes in raising and distributing funds to the entire musculoskeletal spectrum. For more information visit http://www.jointaction.org.uk/.

Please sponsor me and help me reach my target. In the comment box please put the time you think I will run the race in(hour, minutes, seconds), the person closest will win a bottle of vintage champagne. I am aiming to run a time around 3 hours 30 minutes and my best time at the moment is 3 hours 47 minutes.

Donating through Just Giving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Just Giving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you very much,

Best wishes,

Ted
