Fermez les yeux et imaginez un instant... Et si chaque enfant dans le monde recevait une éducation correcte ? 170 millions de personnes ne seraient plus en situation de pauvreté.
En septembre, je mettrais les mains sur le guidon (si si) pour réaliser le trajet Paris - Londres en vélo avec Techbikers, pour lever au total 100 000£ pour l'association Room to Read. http://www.roomtoread.org/

Room to Read favorise l'éducation et l'alphabétisation des enfants dans 10 pays du Tiers-monde, avec notamment la construction d'écoles, de bibliothèques et la distribution de livres.
300 km et 3 jours pour soutenir l'éducation des enfants ! Cette opération est organisée par Techbikers, qui réunit chaque année des membres de la communauté Tech Londonienne pour soutenir et lever des fonds pour Room to Read à la force de la pédale . Cela a permis depuis 2012 de lever 265 000$, conduisant ainsi à la construction d'une école, de plusieurs bibliothèques, et d'aider à la scolarisation de 3 000 filles.
Chaque donation sera directement transmise à Room To Read.

In September, as the weather turns cold and wet, I will be on a bike, cycling over 200 miles from Paris to London with TechBikers to raise money for Room to Read.

Focusing on childhood literacy is one of the most effective ways to improve living standards across the globe.
WHERE WILL MY DONATION GO?
All your donations will go straight to Room to Read, who have received the coveted Four Star Rating from Charity Navigator nine(!) years in a row. About £12,000 will be used to rebuild a school in Nepal that was built in 2013 using TechBikers funds. The rest will go where the need is greatest.
WHAT'S TECHBIKERS?
Techbikers brings together the London tech startup community to help children in need by supporting literacy charity Room to Read. Since 2012, over 120 entrepreneurs, VCs, and other tech enthusiasts have cycled 960km to raise $265,000 for this fantastic charity, and built a school, a handful of libraries, and supported the education of over 3,000 girls.
