Story
The 26 March is Purple day, a day to raise funds, awareness and get people talking about epilepsy. In 2021, support for Purple day is more important the ever.
Having recently been diagnosed with epilepsy our 14-year-old daughter Téa is responding positively to medication.
Téa collapsed in our home and suffered an unexpected seizure in September. We were then sent for tests and EEG which confirmed Tea has epilepsy. She suffered three further seizures until the medication she was prescribed had its desired effect.
Without the help of the medical team and ongoing research into the causes and treatments of epilepsy we would be much more anxious and fearful for our daughter’s wellbeing.
We (Tommy and Tracey) will be running 10K on 26th March 2021 and Téa will be baking for a local virtual coffee morning. We would be so very grateful if you are able to support this amazing cause - not only for ourselves but for everyone with epilepsy.
Thank you so very much and all our love Tommy, Tracey and Téa xxx
