As the head of year 10 at Watford Grammar School For Boys I have set each form the challenge of raising £500 this academic year to be split between our excellent Charities of the Year: KEEN and YOUNGMINDS. There are seven forms, and because I like big round numbers I have decided to raise £1500 (or more!) to make it a round £5000.

What will I be doing? To start off with I will go Mo for November. Next year I will visit each tube station in a day. There will be more besides!

Having worked in a small charity I know what an impact a few pounds can make - and how good charities like KEEN and YOUNGMINDS can potentially turn £5000 into a hundred times that amount with astute, targeted fundraising themselves.
