Story
At FatFace we are passionate about supporting people in the communities around us, offering help when they need it the most. This year our Fatface board members and crew are embarking on a sponsored walk-in support of Shelter.
Hamish the highland cow is stuck at our Aberdovey store but wants to make it to our Bath store in time for the Christmas markets! Fortunately, our friendly crew have offered to get him from store to store, with a visit to each of the 28 stores in the West Coast area along the way. A route through Wales, Shropshire, West Midlands and Gloucestershire before arriving at Bath.
By the 8th December, our West Coast store crew are aiming to walk 730 miles in order to raise money for the housing and homelessness charity, Shelter.
The housing crisis is affecting thousands of people in our communities today with over 250,000 finding themselves homeless, either on the streets or in temporary accommodation. In addition to the walks FatFace has partnered with Shelter over the last few years on a winter product range for all the family, with 10% of sales going to Shelter to help support their amazing work. So far, we have raised over £276k with this set to grow even more this Winter 2022. If you would like to see, more check out our Looks Good, Does Better - Fatface x Shelter collaboration. Please help us achieve our goal and make sure people have safety and security over this winter and beyond.
