We provide help and hope to everyone living with dementia.

Story

Myself and Will are not walkers. Yet we have set the challenge to walk the full 100km challenge. We will attempt to do this in as quick a time as possible but please support us in our goal of raising as much money and publicity for dementia.

In 2019, Will's Mum Nina received an Altzheimers diagnosis. It didn't take long for this terrible illness to take firm hold, forcing her into full time residential care at the tragic age of only 65.

As a former UFC athlete, I have my own reasons to support this wonderful charity. I have friends and ex-teammates who feel abandoned by their former employer: a billion dollar organisation who profit from bloodshed before leaving their fighters to battle the crippling effects of CTE alone. There really has been a criminal lack of investigation into this illness across a huge range of lucrative sports organisations, football and rugby included.

Alzheimer's Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
