We care with courage to help veterans live life to the full.

Story

As a team of family and supporters, we will be taking part in a Tough Mudder event on Sunday 30 September to raise money for The Royal Star & Garter Homes, the Charity that supports and cares for Stephen.

. The staff at The Royal Star & Garter Homes in Surbiton and Solihull will also be taking part in the event by testing themselves on their own obstacle courses on the day.

For those of you that don’t know, Stephen was injured in Iraq in 2007 and he has been cared for by The Royal Star & Garter Homes since 2015. The Charity has always evolved its care to meet the needs of veterans, and there is now a new generation of younger veterans, like Stephen, who need our help.

The Charity is exploring options to develop a facility near the Surbiton Home to offer bespoke residential care to younger veterans. It will provide the nursing care they require while enabling them to live more independently and share the camaraderie of other younger veterans. Stephen will work with the Charity’s care and development team to give advice on how a new care facility will best suit him and other young veterans.

Any donation you wish to give will be greatly appreciated with 100% of the proceeds going to The Royal Star & Garter Homes Charity.
