Every two years Talbot selects a Charity of the Year by staff vote. For 2017/18, by an overwhelming majority, WellChild stole the show and our hearts. We were amazed by the fantastic work the charity does to support sick young people and their families and we decided to get together and give something back. So we are taking on the Three Peak Challenge, an event that will challenge us physically and mentally, to raise funds to help these guys do even more of their good work.

To give you an idea of where your money will go if you sponsor us:

• £25 a month will fund an hour's specialist care and support by a WellChild Nurse to help get a child home to be with their family
• £10 a month will help fund equipment to enable the Helping Hands team to transform a child's bedroom or garden
• £5 a month helps fund the WellChild Family Trees support service for parents and carers of children with multiple and complex needs
• £50 will pay for 1 hour's work by a WellChild researcher
• £1000 will fund ONE WellChild Nurse for a week
