Story
A group of 4 of us based at the stroke unit in Hospital Of St John and Elizabeths are planning on running the 2023 London Marathon for St Johns Hospice.
As we raise more funds we may try and rope more of the team into running for what is a excellent cause and one we are all closely involved in.
On a personal note I have been linked to the hospice since 2018 when they provided care for my father. In 2020 I started working at HJE with a big factor involved in my decision making being their ongoing support for the hospice.
To this end I have coaxed and cajoled my colleagues at the stroke unit at The Hospital of St John and Elizabeth to join me in running the 2023 London Marathon as part of the team. All monies raised will be for this fantastic cause. Thank you all for your support.

St Johns Hospice is committed to celebrating and amplifying life, enabling people to live well for as long as possible. They provide care to more than 4,500 patients and their families across seven North London boroughs each year. Most of their vital work takes place outside of the hospice, in the community, in peoples homes. They want to reach even more people, creating more moments of joy and compassion both inside and outside of the hospice.Thank you for supporting this cause. Every pound and penny we raise will support St Johns Hospice, enabling them to reach more people and provide more care when it is needed most.
