I'm doing the great south run in October with a group of friends and family For shine charity, this is a cause close to my heart as 2 years ago in August 2011 my son aaron was just 2 weeks before his his 2nd birthday when he was diagnosed with hydrocephalus, since he has been diagnosed he has been through 8 brain surgeries, he also has global development delay, behavioural problems, permanate nerve damage to his eyes, a possible diagnosis is off autism  and rthe likelyhood of more surgeries, he has peant the last two years of his life has been spent in and out of hospital and he will be surrounded by doctors ect now for the rest of his life all because of this one condition, for a parent it's been davastasting to watch my child struggle as all special needs parents know its a roller coaster but Aaron has never ever lost his smile and he doesn't know any different. Im doing this for Aaron and everyone else who suffers with this To raise money for this wonderful charity wo have been there since the beginning and to raise awareness for this condition,
