Thank you to all of you that sponsored us for Sonny’s 5th birthday fundraiser. . 

Now  it’s the little guys turn… On 24th September our little guy, at the age of 2.5years (remember we don’t use his name on the internet), will be running the 1km Rainbow Race 2023. He will be running in Sonny’s memory. All money raised will go to the Tommy’s Research centre at St Mary’s, Manchester.

The research conducted at this centre is saving babies lives. They supported us to have our little guy and we will be forever thankful for their hard work and dedication to families that have experienced the death of a baby. 

It’s likely you have already sponsored us for Sonny’s birthday and we know times are extra hard but even £1 would be much appreciated.

On the 27th July 2023  it will be five years since our beautiful boy Sonny was born. This date is also the day he died.

If Sonny was physically with us we’d be having a party and celebrating another magical year of memories with him… but instead we will celebrate him in the ways we are able and hope that you can be a part of that by showing him your love and support by sponsoring us on our 27km walk.

This year me and the little guy (***remember we don’t post his name on social media so please don’t write it on any messages***) will be walking/running 26km just before Sonny’s birthday and on his 5th birthday we will do the final 1km as a family.  

I made many promises to our boy and one of them was to always celebrate his birthday in Team SF style… others were to ensure his memory lives on and that his life would make a difference to others. A way in which we can do this is to fundraise to support research into saving babies lives. 

Of course if anyone wants to join us for part of the walk then please let me know. We had a few special guests over the past years and it's been beautiful.

The money raised for Sonny’s 5th birthday will go towards our Rainbow Race 2023 which is in September. This is an event I am involved in alongside staff at the Tommy’s Research Centre & Rainbow Clinic. This clinic supported us to bring Mad & Sonny’s baby brother home safely. They were also there when we lost our recent baby (as most of you know I am still not able to talk about this). All money raised will go directly to Tommy’s baby charity. A charity that dedicates their work to saving babies lives.
