During the last fourteen weeks The Royal Gwent Urology Department has had to change the way it works.

Telephone appointments rather than face to face, utilising all hospitals within ABUHB for diagnostic scans and virtual multidisciplinary meetings. 

The constant focus has been to continue to support men with prostate cancer. Our strong teamwork has enabled this to take place.

From clinical nurse specialist, Macmillan healthcare support worker, secretaries, schedulers, booking clerks, nursing staff and doctors our phone calls have been many.

We always planned a team for 'THE BIG WALK' event #TogetherInSpirit2020  and this allows us to continue this.
