Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Team Rich are running the London Marathon 2019 in memory of our wonderful Mum and mother in law.

Rich and Rich are setting themselves the almighty task of running the 26.2 miles not only to remember Mum but to also recognise the amazing care she received at St Barnabus Hospice in the last months, weeks and days of her life, after her very short but hard fought battle against a very rare form of cancer.

They allowed Mum to be her normal tenacious self and be as independent as possible right up until her last few days, but always ensuring her dignity was maintained.

We will never be able to thank them enough for what they did for Mum but also for us as a family. Nothing was too much trouble.  We all miss her very much but know she would be so proud of what the boys are doing to support a cause that is now so close to our hearts.

An increasing number of people need all the services hospices across the country provide and often rely exclusively on dontions, so please sponsor Team Rich to help them beat their target!!

Thank you!
