Story

This is the official JustGiving page for #TeamRappel - part of the Running4Refuge drive to raise £10,000 for the UK charity Refuge!

Following the success of #TeamAbseil on the 22nd September 2013, in conjunction with Adventure-Cafe, Running4Refuge is staging another fanatstic event.

You can read about the previous #TeamAbseil Challenge here:

#TeamRappel will be taking on the Avon Gorge Mega Abseil, aiming to raise £1,000 for Refuge.

The money raised will go towards counselling children who have escaped from traumatic home enviroments, to support and rehabilitate victims of extreme abuse, and of course, to maintain the provision of safe accomodation for victims to live without fear.

#TeamRappel is a ten person team, made up of the following participants:

- Shirley Eden (Avon and Somerset Police)

- Tony Baker (Avon and Somerset Police)

- Wendy Turner (Avon and Somerset Police)

- Deme Olliver (London)

- Ellis Olliver (London)

- Chris Chapman (Surrey Police & GlucoRX)

- James Vaughan (Dorset Police)

On the day, #TeamRappel will be joined by Polly and Tracey from #TeamShark, and Sarah from #TeamAirborne.
