Team Primula are taking on the Tyne for CHUF (Children's Heart Unit Fund) on 3rd September aboard a Dragon Boat! We'll be joining teams of superheroes competing in heats all day-paddling for victory! All the sweat and effort is going to help an amazing charity right here in the North East. Did you know the Children's Heart Unit is one of just 2 places in the whole UK that performs heart transplants on babies and children? Whilst we are incredibly lucky to have the very best specialists right here on our doorstep, we want to support CHUF to provide state-of-the-art equipment and services that are beyond NHS capacity.The charity provides practical and holistic support to families facing the most traumatic time of their lives; spreading joy, hope and helping little Heart Heroes to reach their fullest potentials!Each fundraiser has been tasked with raising £100, which will help towards an overall goal of £30,000. As we have a team of 13 paddlers our fundraising target is £1,300.  Any little that you can give will be so appreciated, and will help spur on our paddles on the day!
